From the animation studio LAIKA, that brought us Coraline, ParaNorman, and The Boxtrolls comes another interesting story about Kubo who takes on a dangerous and magical journey to save his small seaside village from an evil spirit seeking to avenge an old feud.
Kubo uses his magical shamisen to entertain his village, but as his magic abilities grow the world around him becomes more dangerous.
Not that I don’t adore Disney/ Pixar movies, because I do. I like that there is another animation studio out there creating animated movies with a bit more of an edge where it is aiming for the 13-16 age market.
But don’t get me wrong, I will be wearing my onesie in theatres when Finding Dory drops.
